Floundering Indians Lose 7th Straight
|
In a tight affair between the Bluefield Blue Jays and the Kinston Indians, pitcher Ean Wood was in the zone. The Bluefield right-hander helped his team win the game, 2-1. Bluefield has run its win streak to 9 straight.
Early in the game, shortstop Nolan Trotta had a solo home run for Bluefield. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Blue Jays on top, 1-0.
