Braves Win by Slim Margin, 2-1

Coy Flora was nothing short of phenomenal for the Danville Braves. The 20-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Bluefield Blue Jays, 2-1. Getting the save was Liam Hewitt, his 4th. The Braves move to 16-18 with the win, while the Blue Jays drop to 20-14.
Danville took a 2-1 lead on Reggie Heglin's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Heglin hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Bluefield pitcher Seth O'Neill visibly frustrated.
Heglin said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
