Bulldogs 7-3 Winners Versus Bluefield
Mike Cothern helped his team muscle past the Bluefield Blue Jays, 7-3. In the game, the Blue Ridge third baseman went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Liam Ross came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. The third-place Bulldogs hiked their record to 20-13.

Cothern had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Jaxon Renuka, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Bulldogs a 6-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Cothern.

Cothern called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
