The River City Rumblers banked on Santiago Borrego and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the Burlington hitters in check. The final score was 2-1, Rumblers. Borrego yielded no runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 2-1. Marco Rosas, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 5th save.
Evan DeVlieger had a direct impact on the outcome. DeVlieger contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put River City up, 2-0.
