Mets Absorb 4-2 Home Loss
|
Carlos Saucedo propelled his team to victory over the Kingsport Mets. The final score was 4-2, Bluefield. Brom Kucera recorded his 11th save for Bluefield. The Blue Jays move to 21-9 with the win, while the Mets drop to 7-23.
Bluefield used a clutch at-bat from Seth McGinnis to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Saucedo.
