Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Rockies
The Elizabethton Twins got a superb performance from pitcher Austin Saccomanno. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Grand Junction. The Rockies won the game, 4-2. Saccomanno threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. Grand Junction pitcher Trent Goodman got the win. He's now 1-0. Kelly Moore was tagged with the loss. The save went to Charlie Breton, number 3 for him.

Grand Junction used the timely hitting of Chrisian Si'i to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rockies ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Si'i.

With the win, Grand Junction boosts its record to 5-5.
