Bluefield Gets 5-4 Win Versus Blue Ridge in 10
The Blue Jays earned a hard-fought, 5-4 win in 10 innings at Ballpark of Blue Ridge. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Blue Ridge pitcher Christopher Jestes. Jestes went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The save was credited to Yainier Ogando, his 2nd. The Blue Jays now own a record of 11-9.

Iona Te'o came through with a big-time hit for Bluefield. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

In postgame comments, Te'o said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
