Talley Goes Off, But Twins Win
The inspired effort of Bluefield catcher Isiah Talley was not enough to prevent a loss, 10-9, to the Elizabethton Twins. Talley went 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The loss makes Bluefield 9-6.

Elizabethton used a timely hit from Benjamin Zehner to get the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Twins ahead, 9-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Baseball's a game where I feel like almost everything that happens is strange," said Zehner. "Maybe that's why it's such a great game."
