Blue Jays Win with Late Rally
The Bluefield Blue Jays clipped the Erwin Mountaineers, 4-3, in 10 innings at Ballpark of Edmonton. The standout performance belonged to Bluefield pitcher and Orland, Maine, native Jerad Robicheaux. Elliott Welch came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Santiago Elias earned the save for Bluefield, his 1st of the year.

Bluefield used the timely hitting of Seth McGinnis to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Blue Jays on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Jerad mixed and matched," said Bluefield manager Lance Rivera.

Erwin, with the loss, is 6-4.
