|
The Chicago Cubs had to overcome a fine performance from Houston pitcher Robert Stevenson to grab a 2-1 win at Wrigley Field. Stevenson allowed 1 run over 7.1 innings. The win puts Chicago at 13-12.
Chicago took a 2-1 lead on Derek McCone's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Houston pitcher Stephen Sterling in the bottom of the eighth.
