Dominant Performance by Barham in Delco Win
|
The Delco Jawns picked up a win at H.P. Hunnicutt Field, knocking off the Blue Ridge Bulldogs, 4-1. Starting pitcher Jae Barham played a key role in the triumph. Yadier Veras finished the game for Delco and earned his 1st save. The loss drops the Bulldogs to 5-6.
Barham, the winner, is now 1-1. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 5 hits, while collecting 9 Ks. He essentially shut down the Blue Ridge offense.
"I'm happy we won," said Barham. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
