The Burlington Royals extended their losing streak with a defeat by the Elizabethton Twins.

The Elizabethton Twins defeated the Burlington Royals by the score of 13-5, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop Kevin Cavicchi. Cavicchi was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Twins on the day. Buck Dwyer, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief.
