Blue Ridge turned a good effort from starter Erwin Lockett into a win over the Welch Miners at Ballpark of Blue Ridge. The final score was 2-0. Andy Sharpe finished to wrap up his 1st save. The win gives the Bulldogs a record of 6-1.

The Bulldogs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Jonah Just. For the game, Just was 1 for 3 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Blue Ridge a 2-0 lead.
