Cardinals Win Round 1 Thursday, September 25th , 2031 Fans at Clover Park saw the Round 1 come to a close today, as the Palm Beach Cardinals defeated the St. Lucie Mets by a score of 2-1, and advanced to the Round 2. Palm Beach won the series 4-1 and will now continue their march toward the Round 2. "It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said right fielder Chris Lynch, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far." The Palm Beach Cardinals will play against the Jupiter Hammerheads in the next round.
