Gamarra Crowned Top FSL Hitter in July

When Guadalupe Gamarra stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Florida State League Batter of the Month award.
The young Bradenton shortstop posted a .341 batting average with 1 home run, 14 RBIs and scored 14 runs. Gamarra also worked pitchers for 21 walks to post a .468 on-base percentage.
