Hits Galore: Vallaual Drills 5 Hits Friday, June 18th , 2032 No matter what the Philadelphia (FCL) Phillies threw at him, Juan Vallaual hit it. He easily handled Phillies pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Astros Orange triumph, 14-1, at BayCare Ballpark. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Vallaual's quip, Phillies skipper Oscar Salazar said he "would take him up on that next time." Juan Vallaual singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Greg Soto in the 6th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
