Jorge Criado Chosen FCL's #1 Player
Sunday, September 5th , 2032
At the age of 24, Jorge Criado of the Washington (FCL) Nationals could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2032 was good enough to win the second baseman the Florida Complex League Most Valuable Player Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .416 batting average this year, as well as a .461 on-base percentage. He played 35 games and racked up 57 hits, 19 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored.

He received 6 first place votes out of a possible 16. Jeff Vance of the Pittsburgh (FCL) Pirates finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Jahred Clark of the Baltimore (FCL) Orioles finished third with 4 first place votes.
