Maya, del Cid Receive 5-Game Suspensions Tuesday, July 12th , 2033 It was an intense fight, so Luis Maya and Juan del Cid were both suspended today for 5 games for their part in a brawl which happened in a game between the Toronto (FCL) Blue Jays and the New York A (FCL) Yankees at George M. Steinbrenner Field. Maya said, "Luckily nobody was hurt. I think we both overreacted to the situation." Thus far this year, Maya is hitting .250 with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. On the year, del Cid has no saves in 2 relief appearances with a 2-1 record and 2.40 ERA. |
