Broome Brings Home CAL Batter of Month Honor Wednesday, September 1st , 2032 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 20 Danny Broome has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young San Jose Giants star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the California League Batter of the Month.
