Rawhide Move on to Round 2 Friday, September 23rd , 2033 Fans of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes groaned when Edgar Meza stepped up to the plate in the Round 1. And for good reason too, as the Visalia Rawhide player was instrumental in guiding his team to a 4-2 series win over the Quakes. The series was clinched tonight at LoanMart Field, with Visalia coming out on top 4-3 in the deciding game. Meza's strong series included a .480 batting average, with a .462 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Visalia Rawhide don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the San Jose Giants - Modesto Nuts series.
