Lake Elsinore-San Jose Brawl, George and Musci Suspended Wednesday, July 18th , 2029 After an intense confrontation, both the Storm Bob George and the Giants Thorpe Musci were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Lake Elsinore-San Jose game. Bob George will miss 4 games, while Thorpe Musci was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Bob George commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." So far on the season, George is hitting .265 with 8 home runs, 44 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 85 hits and played in 82 games. |
