Felker on a Rampage, Hits for Cycle Sunday, May 23rd , 2032 Steve Felker of the Peoria Chiefs had an amazing day at the plate against the South Bend Cubs. The Peoria center fielder hit for the cycle as the Chiefs downed the Cubs, 5-4. "I would love to say it was all skill, but I have to admit it was some luck, too," Felker said. "Everything went where it needed to go." Felker finished the day with 6 hits in 10 tries and raised his batting average a few points. He also had 3 runs batted in and 1 run scored. Steve Felker doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 11th, struck out in the 13th, grounded out in the 15th, singled in the 18th, struck out in the 20th and hit a two-run home run off Alfredo Lobo in the 22nd.
