Player of the Week Trophy to McDaniel Monday, July 26th , 2032 A hot-hitting week got Erik McDaniel the Midwest League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Great Lakes third baseman slammed them for a .556 average, 5 hits in 9 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. In the postgame press conference, McDaniel shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."
