Abreska Batters Greenville for 5 Hits Friday, September 12th , 2031 Rome Braves first baseman Koresh Abreska banged out 5 hits, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Greenville Drive, 8-5. He went 5-for-5 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Abreska said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Koresh Abreska doubled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
