Players Suspended in Ironbirds-Dash Donnybrook Saturday, June 28th , 2031 If there wasn't a history between Kody Scandariato of Aberdeen and Dusty Davis of Winston-Salem, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 9 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Scandariato said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." So far this season, Scandariato has put up a .224 batting average with 54 hits, 4 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
