Thompson Twirls RoughRiders to Shutout Win Thursday, April 21st , 2033 Erik Thompson kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Frisco RoughRiders were all smiles after winning, 2-0, against the Wichita Wind Surge at Riverfront Stadium. The right-handed Thompson gave up no runs in his start, permitted 6 hits, and tallied 3 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Thompson said later.
