Super Month Nets Castellanos #1 Batter Prize in TL Wednesday, October 1st , 2031 Nesty Castellanos is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the San Antonio right fielder joined that select company when the Texas League announced the results of September's voting. Castellanos totaled 28 hits, 9 walks, 7 home runs, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .346 batting average and .398 on-base percentage. This season, Castellanos is batting .265 with 19 home runs. |
