Felder Tosses 1-0 Shutout for Frisco
Friday, July 18th , 2031
Ross Felder hurled a fine game for the Frisco RoughRiders at Dr. Pepper Ballpark, holding the San Antonio Missions to 4 hits in a shutout win.
"When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Frisco manager Kevin Witt said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is."
The right-hander had 5 strikeouts and no walks in the 1-0 victory.
"An outstanding job," San Antonio manager Kimera Bartee said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game."
For the season, Felder has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves, compiled a 4-3 won-lost mark and a 3.95 ERA. In pitching 54.2 innings, he has totaled 35 strikeouts and 11 walks.
