Gastelum Shuts Out Red Sox Wednesday, August 4th , 2032 The Gwinnett Stripers did little to support starter Luis Gastelum against the Worcester Red Sox, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Red Sox, striking out 1 and surrendering 2 hits. The performance from Gastelum allowed Gwinnett to escape with the 3-0 win, despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said, 'Luis, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Gastelum told BNN reporters following the win.
