Redbirds, Hemer Silence Omaha, 3-0
Tuesday, May 1st , 2035
It was a quiet day for the Omaha Storm Chasers at Werner Park -- a little too quiet. Memphis Redbirds starter Josef Hemer silenced the Storm Chasers, holding them to 5 hits and keeping them scoreless in a complete-game 3-0 win.
"It was frustrating against Hemer today," Omaha manager Jae-young Park said.
The Memphis starting pitcher walked 1 and allowed 5 hits while fanning 9.
So far this season, Hemer has a 4-2 record, 6 starts, 41.1 innings, 32 strikeouts and a 2.61 ERA.

Adams of Scranton WB IL Batter of the Month
Tuesday, May 1st , 2035
It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 25 Chris Adams has a lot of baseball ahead of him.
But for now the young Scranton WB RailRiders star can enjoy the numbers he put up in April, which have garnered him the nod as the International League Batter of the Month.
His breakout month featured a .360 average with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
