Bo Bichette Gets Hit Number 2000 Sunday, May 1st , 2033 Bo Bichette's bat made good contact with the ball as he has many times in his career, but this time it added his name to an elite list of players with 2000 hits. "This is a tremendous honor. You grow up dreaming of becoming a Major League Baseball player, but never did I ever think I would get to this point," an emotional Bichette said after the game. The Milwaukee third baseman went to the plate 5 times and racked up 2 hits to gain the honor. But the Brewers couldn't pull off a win -- they fell to the Chicago Cubs, 11-6. "It certainly would have been nice to have won, but tomorrow is another day. I'm going to enjoy this moment with my friends and family," Bichette said.
