Davis Tags Number 300
Friday, May 13th , 2033
It was a great day for Brennen Davis, but not a good one for his Chicago Cubs. The 33-year-old designated hitter reached a personal milestone with his 300th career homer, but it wasn't enough to beat the Houston Astros, who came away with a 4-2 victory. Davis finished the day with 1 hit, 1 run batted in and 1 run scored.
"Well, I've conceded the fact that you can't will yourself to hit a home run," he said. "I tried hard for the last few days. It was getting to be embarrassing with the crowd standing up every time I came to the plate."
Davis has batted .229 for his career with 1103 hits, 207 doubles, 21 triples, 300 home runs, and 848 RBIs.

Bichette Gets 300th Home Run
Friday, May 13th , 2033
Milwaukee third baseman Bo Bichette blasted himself into an elite group of baseball players. Today he joined the exclusive 300 home run club in the Brewers 7-5 loss to the Seattle Mariners.
"As soon as I hit it, I knew it was gone. I was happy to move on. Now I can go and have some fun. It is a weight lifted off my shoulders," Bichette told the press. He admitted just how much pressure he had been feeling. "Especially every time you'd get out of the hotel, everybody would say, 'Hey, when are you going to hit it?'"
In his milestone game, Bichette went 1 for 5 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored.
Lifetime Bichette is batting .272 and has totaled 300 home runs.

Going Once! Twice! Gone Again! 3 HR for Ford
Friday, May 13th , 2033
Harry Ford went on an explosive hitting spree against the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium, launching a trio of blasts to help the New York Mets win, 17-7.
The catcher finished 3-for-4 with 4 runs scored and 7 runs batted in.
"It was just one of those days," Ford said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball."
New York skipper Dave Roberts said Ford was "locked-in."
"We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him."
Harry Ford hit a two-run home run off Luis Serna in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Luis Serna in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jed DeCooman in the 8th and walked in a run in the 9th.
In his 2033 season totals, Ford has 8 home runs, .264 BA, .331 OBP, 19 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
