League Suspends Cincinnati 2B Turang Monday, March 20th , 2034 Brice Turang didn't like the strike call, turned around and had some angry words with the home plate umpire. Apparently he went too far. The result is a 2-game suspension by the league office. The league cited his failure to leave the dugout after the ejection was the reason for the suspension. The Cincinnati second baseman was ejected in a game at Spring Ballpark against the Colorado Rockies following a controversial third-strike call. |
