Baltimore Rookie Reels in Reward in September Wednesday, October 1st , 2031 Danny Cureton earned September's Rookie of the Month honors in the American League for last month's performance. The boyish Baltimore right fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Cureton hit .365 with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 18 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. This season, Cureton has posted a batting average of .267 with 143 hits in 535 at-bats, 21 home runs and 91 RBIs. He has also scored 90 runs, walked 99 times and compiled a .402 OBP. |
