Bichette Runs Hit String to 30 Straight Games Sunday, July 27th , 2031 Bo Bichette, third baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 30 games with 2 hits in his club's 9-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. "Not the outcome we wanted," Cincinnati manager Ahron Cooney said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Bo Bichette flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. In 2031 Bichette has hit at a .340 clip with 123 hits, 16 home runs, 74 RBIs and has scored 62 times. |
