Scrappers Simpson Snags NYP Player of the Week Monday, September 4th , 2028 The Player of the Week has been chosen by the New York-Penn League. The award went to Allen Simpson, second baseman of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. In a sensational hitting performance, he wrecked league pitchers with a .500 average to win the honor.
