Himes Launches 3 HR for Cyclones Friday, September 1st , 2028 Whatever Mike Himes ate for breakfast before his game against the Williamsport Crosscutters today, it gave him some impressive power. The Brooklyn center fielder smacked three balls up and out of the park at Bowman Field. His home run barrage led the Cyclones to take the 8-2 victory over the Crosscutters. "When they throw it in your wheelhouse, you've got a shot at a homer," he told BNN reporters after the game. "I got three shots today and nailed them all." On his 3-homer day, he went 4-for-5, scored 4 times, drove in 3 and put on a display that history will remember. Mike Himes hit a solo-shot off Gabe Rivera in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Gabe Rivera in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off C.J. Zaffarano in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This season Himes is batting .253 with 3 home runs. His totals include 14 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
