Dan Carbone Wins NYP Trophy Monday, August 28th , 2028 So far in his young career, Dan Carbone has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the New York-Penn League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Batavia Muckdogs center fielder hit at a torrid .524 clip as he collected 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 8 runs scored. For the season Carbone has produced 63 hits in 202 at-bats for a .312 average with 3 home runs and gotten on base at a .404 clip. |
