Rodriguez Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Thursday, August 10th , 2028 The number just keeps getting higher. Hudson Valley first baseman Alex Rodriguez has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 3 hits in 5 at-bats as the Hudson Valley took the 7-4 win over the Brooklyn Cyclones at Dutchess Stadium. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Brooklyn manager Warren Schaeffer said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Alex Rodriguez flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. For the season Rodriguez is hitting .315, batted in 11 runs with no home runs and 21 runs scored. |
