Cyclones Snap Dorman's Streak at 24
Thursday, August 10th , 2028
Maybe it really is taboo to talk about a hitting streak before it's over. Hours after speaking to the press about his 24-game hitting streak, Hudson Valley right fielder Jaden Dorman went hitless in 2 at-bats today at Dutchess Stadium.

The sudden hitting drought came as the Renegades took the 7-4 win over the Brooklyn Cyclones.

"Nope, it's not magic," Dorman said in his postgame press conference. "Nobody jinxed me. Streaks don't last forever. I've heard about it every day for weeks now. My roomie told me to get a hit before every game and wished me luck. I just ran out of hits."

In his season totals, Dorman has 9 home runs, .325 BA, .387 OBP, 33 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 43 games.
