Lantz Goes on Rampage Against Spikes Sunday, July 9th , 2028 Mahoning Valley Scrappers catcher Jonathan Lantz really lit up the State College Spikes with a 5-hit barrage today at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park -- a performance that sparked the Scrappers to a 8-5 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Jonathan Lantz singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, doubled in the 11th, singled in the 13th, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 15th and walked in the 16th.
