Bazzana goes 3-for-3 to Ignite Pirates Offense
The Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-3, at PNC Park. Pittsburgh second baseman Travis Bazzana had an outstanding performance. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Pittsburgh reliever Austin Nye picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Blake Yaag was saddled with the loss. With their winning streak at 4, the Pirates have raced to a strong start this season.

Nick McLain hit a 2-run double off Danny Coots in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Pirates in front, 5-3. In addition to the double, McLain had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Los Angeles skipper David James.
