Reds Fall Short, 4-3, at Baltimore
|
Baltimore beat Cincinnati at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, eking out a 4-3 win. The triumph was primarily due to right fielder Danny Cureton. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Sam Hammonds locked down his 37th save. The Orioles, at 78-73, have now won 4 straight.
Cureton had an important at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Orioles went on to win.
"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Cureton.
