Braves Win 8-6 Walk-Off
|
The Atlanta Braves, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Truist Park.
The Atlanta Braves outlasted Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies, 8-6. Harper was impressive in the loss. The Philadelphia right fielder was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Today's win puts Atlanta at 70-77, while Philadelphia falls to 75-73.
The decisive blow was delivered by Matt Olson in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off two-time All-Star Kyle Hoskins to win the game for Atlanta. The home crowd went nuts.
"It's great when the crowd is energized," Olson said.
