Brewers Sneak By Phillies, 5-4
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies.
The Philadelphia Phillies got a superb performance from pitcher Sixto Sanchez, but the Milwaukee Brewers still won the game, 5-4. Sanchez threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs. With the victory, the Brewers record stands at 69-76.
Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Brice Turang to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Brewers on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We take it day by day here," said Turang, "and today was a good one for us."
