Mookie Betts Gets Hit Number 2500

It was a banner day for Mookie Betts, who collected his 2500th hit in the Los Angeles 3-2 win over New York. Betts went 2-for-4 in the game as both Dodgers and Yankees fans cheered Betts when he reached base after his hit.
"It feels great to get #2500," Betts said afterward, "especially since we won the game."
Lifetime Betts is hitting .279 with 2501 hits, 436 home runs, 1675 runs scored and 1342 RBIs.
