Phillies Drop Giants, 6-5
|
People outside the ballpark no doubt heard the roar of the crowd as the winning run crossed the plate.
The Philadelphia Phillies handed the San Francisco Giants a loss at Citizens Bank Park. The final score was 6-5. Brandon Lowe was one of the major contributors for Philadelphia. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 4. Philadelphia has now won 4 straight.
The Phillies procured the win, in large part because of first baseman Ty Dalley. In the bottom of the 13th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"This place was electric at the end," Dalley said.
