Mariners Drop Red Sox, 3-2
|
Sang-mok Kim pitched well, but the Boston Red Sox still lost the game, falling, 3-2, to the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. Randy Rodriguez, who is tied for 6th in the AL in saves with 31, nailed down the save. Boston has now lost 5 consecutive games.
With a runner on 2nd and two out in the bottom of the sixth inning, center fielder Josh Larson delivered big for the Mariners. Seattle was trailing 2-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
Larson called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
