Orioles Win at Cleveland, 8-4
The Baltimore Orioles cut down the Cleveland Guardians by the score of 8-4, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Mickey Moniak. Moniak was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Orioles. Duke Ekstrom, the winner, is now 2-4. He struck out 3 and walked 1 over 6 innings, while allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. Baltimore raised its record to 70-70 with the win.

Cameron Cauley had a big 2-run double for the Orioles in the top of the sixth inning. With Baltimore leading 5-4 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Ofelky Peralta and swatted a double to left. It was his 16th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Orioles ahead, 7-4.

"We did a lot of good things tonight," said Baltimore manager James Resume.
