Boston Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Boston Red Sox walked off with a big win.

The Boston Red Sox outlasted Elliott Huot and the Houston Astros, 8-6. Huot was impressive in the loss. The Houston pitcher threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball. Yosuke Fujiwara, who is tied for 3rd in the AL in saves with 34, was the winner in relief. His record is now 6-1. The losing pitcher was Joe Jimenez.

Boston got a knockout punch from Campbell Smithwick. The catcher hammered a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Smithwick, "and then get after it again."

The triumph puts Boston at 76-64 for the season.
